It is looking as if the SEC and Big 12 may not be able to fill the allotment of Bowl spots they are contracted to. With so many below .500 teams in both conferences and the teams eligible in contention for New Year’s six or playoff games, it leaves open spots for Group of 5 teams or other At Large bids. Again, these are projections. They are based upon wins and bowl-eligible teams. APR (Academic Progress Rates) looks to come into play.
