Express vs. Iron: Who Forges On?

This game should be a good one; the Express is hungry with new star quarterback the sensation Johnny Manziel. Manziel will undoubtedly increase the fans because of his stature, which the AAF will also benefit from. Zach Mettenberger will also be a guy who is missed for the Express, but its next man up.

With Brandon Silvers as the man under center, I do say it will be a better game; the Express may have a better shot at winning, just because he knows the playbook better and the players better too.

With Drew Jackson on defense, he will be Luis Perez’s worst nightmare. Big man Montari Hughes will be a complete and utter menace too. The cornerbacks can’t make any mistakes because Perez should be getting the ball off quick. He does need to be accurate though Memphis has cornerbacks with good hands.

The Express will feed off of Johnny Manziel but this week will be slow. I believe next week is where Memphis will indubitably jump up the ranks with and win with the man known as ‘Money Manziel.’

I think this game will be close, but not nail-biting close; it will be a game for the Express to try to get Manziel or Silvers, even both used to the game situation. They will start Silvers and ease Manziel into the game later on especially if Silvers is struggling.

Austin MacGinnis should be having a lot of opportunities in this one as the Iron are great at keeping teams out of the endzone, forcing field goals.

At the end of this game, I have Birmingham forging on over the Express. The final of this game I see at Birmingham Iron- 27 Memphis Express – 18.
