With one month left of regular season play, there are a lot of questions to be asked.
Who is going to the playoffs?
Who is still in contention?
The Atlanta Braves are very much in the race, with a record of 74 wins and 58 losses. They lead the NL East by just three and a half games over the Philadelphia Phillies. This is the Braves first winning season in the last five years.
So the question remains, can they keep their pace and win their first division title since 2013?
In my last article about the Boston Red Sox, I spoke about the magical season they were having (you can read that here if you need to catch up!). With an astounding record of 92 wins and 42 losses, they lead the AL East by seven and a half games over the New York Yankees. If the Red Sox can maintain this pace, they are on track to win their third consecutive AL East title and finish with an incredible 115 wins, cementing them in the top three all-time for regular season wins!
These two teams are the ones I have kept my eyes on for most of the season.
What are your thoughts going into the last month of the regular season?
What team are you pulling for?
Give me your best shot, I would love to hear from you!
