NFL Draft: Mock Drafts Have Burrow, Tagovailoa Only QBs going in First Five Picks

(Ambush Sports) — The draft landscape for the upcoming NFL Draft, slated for April 23-25 in Las Vegas, has had a bit of a paradigm shift following the NFL Combine.

Will Brinson from CBS Sports revealed who he considers to be the first ten picks (including any trades):

  1. Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Burrow (QB, Sr., LSU – 6’4″, 221 lbs.)
  2. Washington Redskins: Chase Young (EDGE, Jr., Ohio State – 6’5″, 264 lbs.)
  3. Detroit Lions: Isaiah Simmons (LB, Jr., Clemson – 6’4″, 238 lbs.)
  4. New York Giants: Mekhi Becton (OL, Jr., Louisville – 6’7″, 364 lbs.)
  5. Dallas Cowboys: Tua Tagovailoa (QB, Jr., Alabama – 6’0″, 217 lbs.) (in trade with Miami Dolphins)
  6. Los Angeles Chargers: Jordan Love (QB, Jr., Utah State – 6’4″, 224 lbs.)
  7. Carolina Panthers: Jeff Okudah (CB, Jr., Ohio State – 6’1″, 205 lbs.)
  8. Arizona Cardinals: Tristan Wirfs (OL, Jr., Iowa – 6’5″, 320 lbs.)
  9. Jacksonville Jaguars: Javon Kinlaw (DL, Sr., South Carolina – 6’5″, 324 lbs.)
  10. Cleveland Browns: Andrew Thomas (OL, Jr., Georgia – 6’5″, 315 lbs.)

NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah viewed things a bit differently, with no trades planned:

  1. Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Burrow (QB, Sr., LSU – 6’4″, 221 lbs.)
  2. Washington Redskins: Chase Young (EDGE, Jr., Ohio State – 6’5″, 264 lbs.)
  3. Detroit Lions: Jeff Okudah (CB, Jr., Ohio State – 6’1″, 205 lbs.)
  4. New York Giants: Tristan Wirfs (OL, Jr., Iowa – 6’5″, 320 lbs.)
  5. Miami Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa (QB, Jr., Alabama – 6’0″, 217 lbs.)
  6. Los Angeles Chargers: Mekhi Becton (OL, Jr., Louisville – 6’7″, 364 lbs.)
  7. Carolina Panthers: Isaiah Simmons (LB, Jr., Clemson – 6’4″, 238 lbs.)
