There were potential hints in this week’s “Being The Elite” video recapping the events leading up to and including AEW Revolution in Chicago.
In the final segment of the video, Matt and Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks received a phone call based in a (910) area code, which is based in North Carolina.
AEW superfan Jessi Davin took to Twitter, potentially hinting at Scott Dawson of WWE’s The Revival making the jump to AEW.
However, in Matt Hardy’s recent #FreeTheDELETE episode Tuesday, the Young Bucks make an appearance in the concluding moments of the broadcast, which connects the two phone calls together.
The further-enhanced speculation comes as numerous talent signings have taken place, including Colt Cabana (who debuted during the Revolution pre-show) and Lance Archer (set to debut during Dynamite Wednesday night).
Hardy may not be the only former WWE star who has departed from the organization for AEW in the past year. Paul Davis from WrestlingNews.co speculates that Brodie Lee (real name: Jonathan Huber) — formerly known as Luke Harper in WWE — could be making his debut, perhaps in front of a hometown crowd in Rochester, NY during the March 18 Dynamite broadcast. He could appear and debut in Newark, NJ, for the March 25 Dynamite broadcast.
