At the age of 26, Thomas has officially become a threat on offense. In his three year career, Thomas had 321 catches for 3,787 yards. Within all that stellar performance, Thomas scored 23 touchdowns with his beloved Saints. Thomas played 16 games in the 2018 season. Thomas finished the 2018 season with 125 receptions, 1405 yards, 11.2 receiving yards per reception, and nine touchdowns. His 125 receptions led the NFL in 2018. The rising star has made his name on the field. From being drafted 47th overall in 2016 to being the highest-paid NFL wide receiver, is not only astonishing but well deserved. The New Orleans Saints knew that this young man is a star. Thomas is a treasure to the city of New Orleans and extending his contract another six years is a very wise decision.
