The Houston XFL franchise named June Jones as a coach/general manager. The hire is the final hiring of all the XFL franchises.

For the past two years, Jones has been the head coach of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL. His record was 20-22 in his time there. Jones also has been a head coach in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons from 1994 to 1996 and for the San Deigo Chargers in 1998. While in the NFL, Jones had a record of 22-36, not good at all.

The Former NFL coach has also spent some time coaching in the college ranks. Jones coached at SMU from 2008 to 2014, where he went 36-43. He was the head coach at the University of Hawaii from 1997 to 2007. Jones was pretty successful at Hawaii going 76-41.

June Jones has been in football for a long time. Jones likes to run the run and shoot offense so the Houston XFL franchise will be exciting to watch from the offensive standpoint. He will need to find a quarterback to run his system to be successful.
