Harlem Heat To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame Class Of 2019

On Monday, March 11th, 2019, WWE announced that Harlem Heat would be getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2019.

Booker T & Stevie Ray made their way into WCW in the summer of 1993. In little time, they brought WCW’s Tag Team division to life while fighting with names like Sting and Ric Flair.

Harlem Heat captured their first WCW Tag Team Titles in early 1995. Throughout their many times as champions, they faced some pretty heavy competition from teams like The Road Warriors, The Steiner Brothers, Sting & Lex Luger, and The Nasty Boys. Booker T & Stevie Ray had exactly what it took to be able to put those teams down for the count. By 1997, they had racked up seven turns as WCW Tag Team Champions.

Eventually, Harlem Heat parted ways with Stevie Ray becoming a trusted member of the infamous nWo and Booker T going on to become a decorated singles competitor. In late 1999, the two brothers reunited to turn up the heat in tag team wrestling once again. It wasn’t long before they recaptured WCW gold, and they would achieve the feat twice more before the start of a new millennium, setting a record as 10-time WCW Tag Team Champions.

Harlem Heart being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame makes Booker T a two-time Hall of Famer.

Are you excited to see Booker T and Stevie Ray once again turn up the heat at this year’s Hall of Fame Ceremony?
