“Now let me welcome everybody to the Wild Wild West”-Dr. Dre
The San Antonio Commanders are riding high with a four-game win streak under their belts. Along with this streak, the Commanders also have a lead in the Western Conference.

They will look to build on that lead with this week’s game against the Arizona Hotshots.
Area 51 Must Be A No-Fly Zone
The APB on the Area 51 boys has been brought down to Defcon 2. The Commanders secondary has really stepped up the past few games, and they are looking for the same success they had against the Hotshots in their Week 5 matchup. In the 4th quarter of the Week 5 game, the Commanders gave up 18 points that could have easily made the game a barnburner. Derron Smith and Da’Vante Bausby will look to add to their interception count, much like they did in Week 5. Bausby is coming off a monster game where was able to make the game-winning interception back home in the Alamodome against the Salt Lake Stallions.

Riding The ‘Dome Advantage
This goes without saying, but the Commanders’ home-crowd has shown the entire AAF that they are the bar that all crowds must meet. For their first game back at the Alamodome in over four weeks, the Commanders faithful showed up strong with 30,345 in attendance. This home crowd has given the team a distinct home-field advantage. Stallions Head Coach Dennis Erickson took notice of the crowd intensity during their matchup.
The Area 51 Boys and the home-crowd will prove to be the game-changers in this game. Also, look for the Commanders to utilize their tight ends more like they have in recent weeks.
