The Dallas Renegades got their first win last night against the Los Angeles Wildcats. The Renegades on the road mind you got a 25 to 18 win. They went into someone else’s house and grabbed the victory from the Wildcats.
The Dallas Renegades went into this game playing poorly in week one and had to make a quarterback change because Nelson was not getting it done. Along with the fact, Landry Jones was not ready in week one. Let’s see how the Renegades got the W.
Both offenses struggled to put up points in the first half, the halftime score was 3-3, and the third quarter was not much better. There was only a field goal on the board. Dallas had a 6-3 edge going into the fourth quarter. Then the game magically opened up for the offense. Cameron brought the Payne and wore down the Wildcats. Which ultimately helped the passing game.
Landry Jones only had three practices this week; the running attack was Vidal for Jones in this game. He struggled through the first half of the game, due to the lack of offensive running attack and offensive line problems. And after halftime came out throwing the pigskin. He went 28 for 48 for one touchdown and two picks for 305 yards. So, all in all, a much better performance from the quarterback position.
The Running game was outstanding Sunday. Cameron Artis-Payne put the hurt on the LA defense.
.@ThaRealKillaCam carried the ball 10 times for 80 yards in the final nine minutes of yesterday's win. “That was a major part of [the win],” @CoachBobStoops said. “I thought we put them in a tough spot defending the run.”

He totaled 99 yards and found himself celebrating in the end zone twice last week.
The offensive line had a monstrous day last week. While the offensive line did struggle in the first half of the game. The big fellas up front took to many penalties, as well as not opening up holes and not allowing Landry Jones to drop back and survey the field.
However, in the second half, this changed. The big guys on the line moved the LA defensive line around, and it ultimately opened up big huge holes for Payne. Along with allowing Jones plenty of time to throw downfield. Quite an improvement from last week, I must say.
The Dallas Renegades got the win 25 to 18 to secure their first XFL win of the season. This team has developed some chemistry with Landry Jones already. And with another week of practice, I do not doubt that they will be better next week.
