Last season with the 76ers Redick averaged 18.1 points per game; he also shot 39 percent from three-point land. The 18 points are the highest points per game average of his career.
Redick joins a young talent Pelicans team, that needs veteran leadership. The former Duke star will provide that leadership and much needed for spacing for players like Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and Zion Williamson have more room to work. The Pelicans have had an excellent offseason; their team could make some noise for years to come.
