Al Horford was due 30 million this year by the Boston Celtics but decided to opt out. Horford has been in the NBA for 12 years and has made five all-star teams. Last season with Boston, Horford averaged 13.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.2 assist a game. Also, he shot 53 percent from the field and 36 percent from three.
The former Celtic made the 2018 All-Defensive team; he is an excellent defender. Horford will bring the ability to hit open shots and defend for the Sixers. Joel Embid and Horford will be monsters in defense for the Sixers. Another thing Horford brings in a strong presence in the locker room, he well liked by his teammates.
