USA vs Ecuador

The United States Men’s team will be in action this Thursday as they take on Ecuador in Orlando, Florida at 8 pm. Overall the teams have met 14 times, and Ecuador has the most wins currently, but the US team has dominated the last seven meetings between the two sides. Ecuador’s side will feature Antonio Valencia of Manchester United and Orlando City’s Jhegson Mendez. The remainder of the 23 man squad will feature a number of young Ecuadorian players who are led by several senior squad members.  The US has also called upon a number of their exciting players that are in Europe and the MLS to answer the challenge of Ecuador and the match looks to be an exciting one for both nations. One player that will be hoping to get the nod will be New York City FC goalkeeper Sean Johnson who has made some fantastic saves in between the posts for his club. Although he does face competition in the spot with Ethan Horvath producing some quality saves for Club Brugge in Belgium. The rest of the US squad features a number of players from Europe and MLS, with the squads finalized both teams will have a number of inexperienced players and it will be exciting to see if they will get to start for their countries.
