The Honky Tonk Man To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2019

On Tuesday, February 26th, 2019, WWE announced that The Honky Tonk Man would be joining the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2019. The Honky Tonk Man is the second inductee to be announced for the 2019 class.

The Honky Tonk Man was an upbeat, charismatic, country music loving machine managed by “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart. He has worked with names like Ric Flair, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, The Ultimate Warrior, Jake “The Snake” Robert’s, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and more. He’s even wrestled Santino Morella.

When bringing The Honky Tonk Man into the conversation, it is hard not to mention his record Intercontinental Title reign of 64 weeks. To this day, The Honky Tonk Man holds that record as the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion in all of WWE History and is considered one of the greatest Intercontinental Champions of all time.
