Juventus and Bologna met on a sunny Italian morning in Bologna, Juventus made some changes from the predicted lineup as they have to prepare for the Champions League later on in the week, but Bologna came out full force to face the league leaders. In the first half both teams were able to produce individual chances but were unable to convert those chances into goals, but Bologna was able to hold the league leaders to a surprising draw as they headed into the changing rooms at half time. The second half started with the teams remaining the same, in the 55th minute Bologna won a corner that was almost converted into a goal, but they were to be disappointed as Juventus were able to flood the box and deny the chance. With the missed chances from Juventus, Bologna decided to make a change in the 59th minute and brought in Paulo Dybala who started the game unexpectedly on the bench, with this sub, Juventus sought to breathe new life into what was an uninspired side. In the 67th minute, Dybala delivered that breath of life as he scored a necessary goal for the league leaders. In the 77th minute, both teams made substitutions with Pjanic replacing Matuidi for Juventus and Donsah replacing Poli for Bologna. With the dying minutes of the game Juventus looked to Chiellini to shore up the defense, the match ended as expected for the league leaders Juventus who secured the three points and continued their dominance of the league but you cannot say it was an easy match as Bologna looked to be the better side for parts of the game and took the game to Juventus at times, while Bologna may be at the bottom of the table right now look for them to be a team to climb up out of the relegation zone and stay in the top flight of Italian soccer.
