The Mystics Beat The Aces 97-95 In Game One

The Eastern Conference semifinal was a site to see. The Mystics and the Aces went to head to head during game one of the semifinals. The Aces ended up falling short last night. The Mystics beat the Aces 97 to 95.

The Las Vegas Aces played hard last night. The Aces power players are the following; A’ja Wilson, Kayla McBride, Liz Cambage and Kelsey Plum. A’ja Wilson was the led scorer for the Aces. Wilson played for 37 minutes. Within those 37 minutes, she scored 23 points, had seven rebounds and one assist. Kayla McBride played for 36 minutes. Within those 36 minutes, she scored 19 points, had two assists and two rebounds. Liz Cambage played for 28 minutes and led her team in rebounds. Within those 28 minutes, she scored 19 points, had 12 rebounds and two assists. Kelsey Plum played for 31 minutes and led her team with assists. Within those 31 minutes, she scored 16 points, had seven rebounds and had nine assists.

The Washington Mystics went back and forth with the Aces in that action pack game. Last night, the Mystics leaders were the following; Elena Delle Donne, Emma Meesseman, Natasha Cloud and LaToya Sanders.  Emma Meesseman led her team in rebounds and points. Meesseman played for 30 minutes and within those 30 minutes, she scored 27 points, has 10 rebounds and three assists. Elena Delle Donne led her team in assists. Donne played for 34 minutes and within those 34 minutes, she scored 24 points, had six rebounds and six assists. Natasha Cloud played for 31 minutes and within those 31 minutes, she scored 12 points, had zero rebounds and three assists. LaToya Sanders played for 31 minutes as well. Within those 31 minutes, Sanders scored nine points, had five rebounds and one assist.

The Mystics and the Ace will be back in action tomorrow night for game two. The ladies will be playing in Washington DC at 8:30 pm. We hope that game two is just as action pack as game one.
