The Mystics Beat The Liberty 93-77

The Mystics continue to dominate.

On Tuesday night the Washington Mystics were in New York to play the New York Liberty. The Mystics that defeated the Liberty 93 to 77. The Liberty had yet another tough game against the Mystics. Even though the Liberty played hard, the Mystics continue to dominate.

The Mystics dominated most of the whole game. The three leading Mystics players that dominated Tuesday night’s game were; Elena Delle Donne, Ariel Atkins, and Emma Meesseman. Elena Delle Donne played the longest Tuesday night. Delle Donne played for 35 minutes. Within those 35 minutes, she had 10 rebounds, three assists, and scored 30 points. Delle Donne also tied for the most rebounds of the night. Ariel Atkins played for 33 minutes. Within those 33 minutes, Atkins scored 23 points, had seven rebounds and one assist. Emma Meesseman played for 33 minutes. Within those 33 minutes, Meesseman scored 13 points, had seven rebounds and seven assists.

The Liberty struggled the first half Tuesday night’s game. They started to make a comeback in the second half, however, it was not enough. The Liberty’s leading ladies are the following; Marine Johannes, Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe and Tanisha Wright. Marine Johannes led in points for the Liberty. Johannes played 24 minutes. Within those 24 minutes, she scored 22 points. Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe led in rebounds for the Liberty Tuesday night. Raincock-Ekunwe played for 26 minutes, which was the longest for her team. Within those 26 minutes, she scored 12 points, had five rebounds and one assist. Tanisha Wright played for a total of 18 minutes. Within those 18 minutes, she had one rebound, three assists, and scored nine points. It was a rough not for the Liberty.

The Mystics continue to dominate the Eastern Conference. The Connecticut Suns are right behind them. The Mystics take on the Dallas Wings in tomorrow at 7 pm in Washington DC. The Liberty currently sits at fifth place, right above the Atlanta Dream in the Eastern Conference. Their next game will be tomorrow at 7 pm. They will be taking on the Indiana Fever in New York.
