The Connecticut Sun Beat The Dallas Wings 102-72

Last night the Dallas Wings fell to the Connecticut Sun 72 to 102. The Sun hosted the Wings last night at their home court. The Sun was on fire and focused. The Wings were having trouble getting on one accord.

The Dallas Wings played hard but were not successful. The Wings started to pick up momentum in the second half of the game. They played hard to decrease the deficient that was created in the first half. The three leading ladies from last nights game are’ Arike Ogunbowale, Allisha Gray, and Megan Gustafson. Arike Ogunbowale played for 39 minutes and was in the game the longest on both teams. Within those 39 minutes, she scored 32 points, had two rebounds and six assists. Allisha Gray played for 34 minutes. Within those 34 minutes, she scored 15 points, had zero rebounds and one assist. Megan Gustafson played for 16 minutes. Within those 16 minutes, she scored eight points, had two rebounds and zero assists.

The Connecticut Sun dominated all four quarters last night. The following four ladies; Jonquel Jones, Morgan Tuck, Alyssa Thomas, and Courtney M. Williams led their team to victory last night. Jonquel Jones played the longest and led in the most points scored on her team last night. Jones played for 30 minutes. Within those 30 minutes, she scored 22 points, had seven rebounds and two assists. Morgan Tuck played for 17 minutes. Within those 17 minutes, Tuck had three rebounds, zero assists, and scored 17 points. Alyssa Thomas played for 23 minutes. Within those d23 minutes, Thomas scored 13 points, had five rebounds and five assists. Courtney Williams led the team in rebounds last night. Williams played for 24 minutes. Within 24 minutes, she had eight rebounds, seven assists and scored nine points.

The Connecticut Sun are in second place right behind the Mystics. The Sun will be back in action tomorrow at 7:30 pm. They will be hosting the Chicago Sky. The Wings have a tough game ahead of them. They will be back in action tomorrow night as well. They will be traveling to Washington DC to play the Mystics at 7 pm.
