Many people have heard the name “Taysom Hill” as he can do everything. He is often called “Magic Man” or “Mr. Everything”. Taysom Hill is labeled as a QB, but in reality, he plays HB, QB, TE, and Kick returner. In 2018 he had a total of 37 rushes for 196 yards and 2 touchdowns. He did not have much playtime last season, but that is expected to go up from here.
He is currently battling for the backup QB job with former Viking, Teddy Bridgewater. Taysom Hill easily won the battle during the Chargers as Hill cuts it up going 11/15, 136 passing yards, 53 rushing yards, and 2 touchdowns. In ONE HALF of the football game. He led the Saints to a comeback and eventually a win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

He played for New Orleans in 2017 and 2018, playing more in 2018. Coming out of college, he did not look like the best quarterback out there. In his collegiate career, he went 609 of 1047 in passing attempts for a 58.2% completion percentage. Hill threw for 6929 yards in his seasons with the BYU Cougars after playing a total of 37 games. He did throw 43 touchdowns but watered down with 31 interceptions. He ended his collegiate career with a total passer rating of 121.4 (Formula is: (8.4 * yds + 330 * TD’s – 200 * INT + 100 * Cmp) / Att).
In 2018, he did not just pass and run routes. Here is a list of what he did in 2018:
- Completed a pass
- Ran for a TD
- Caught a pass
- Returned Kicks
- Recorded special teams tackles
- Blocked a punt

He did in fact do all of these things in one season. Taysom is an incredible player and can do everything at one time.
