Week Two has ended for the Premier League and the match week was certainly exciting for the newly promoted teams of Norwich City and Sheffield United both securing wins. Sheffield United took on Crystal Palace at their home ground of Bramall Lane and was able to walk out 1-0 winners.
Sheffield United and Crystal Palace fought hard, and the first half ended without any goals after Sheffield was able to take 11 shots on goal. The second half started, and Sheffield United struck through John Lundstram 2 minutes after the start of the second half, the game continued as a hard fight between the two but ultimately Sheffield was able to walk out the winners.
Norwich City took on Newcastle United at Carrow Road at their home ground Norwich City. Norwich beat Newcastle United convincingly through Teemu Pukki who scored all three of Norwich City’s goals. As they ran out clear winners against a Newcastle United, who were able to get one goal back at the end of the game, but that conciliation goal only continues the problems that Newcastle United has experienced. They are trying to find their feet after Mike Ashley, the owner of Newcastle United, forgot to make sure the manager who has kept Newcastle United in the Premier League let him go. With the current owner, fans of Newcastle United can only hope that they will be able to stay in the top tier of English soccer.
