It is reported that the Boston Celtics and the Charlotte Horners plan to agree on a sign-and-trade for Terry Rozier. Rozier will sign a three-year $58 Million contract.

Last season with the Boston Celtics, Rozier averaged 9 points per game. In his four seasons in Boston, he averaged, 7.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assist a game. In the 2018 playoffs, Rozier earned the nickname Scary Terry for his successful playoff run. The point guard averaged 16.5 points per game on 40 percent shooting from the field.

Acquiring Rozier gives the Hornets a replacement for Kemba Walker. Terry was vocal last season about being unhappy about being a backup. Now he gets his chance to shine. Let’s see what he does.
