It has been reported that the Dallas Mavericks plan to offer Kristaps Porzingis a five-year contract for $158 million. This is planning to take place once free agency begins. The former New York Knick was drafted in 2015 as the first round 4th pick. His time in New York ended when the Knicks traded Porzingis in February of 2019 to the Mavericks. According to Senior Writer from the Athletic and Stadium Shams Charania, the Mavs and Porzingis will meet Sunday, June 30th and decision further.

If this deal happens, Kristaps Porzingis will be receiving a maximum contract. After healing from an ACL injury, the 7’3 Latvian player will come out with a huge win.  Free agency starts on June 30th, which means anything can happen.  Players will be changing teams, and the excitement will begin.
