On June 10th, 2019, superstar Kevin Durant suffered from an Achilles injury. Durant had to leave the game in the 2nd quarter due to the injury and after half time, the Golden State Warriors announced that Durant will not return to the game. According to Jack Maloney & Michael Kaskey-Blomain from CBS Sports, Durant will travel to New York to have his Achilles tendon evaluated by doctors, per Shams Charania of The Athletic. Golden State Warriors President of Basketball Operations, Bob Myers did a press conference last night. Myers said he “didn’t believe there’s anybody to blame” but “if you have to, blame me”. Below is a piece of that press conference;
Bob Myers fighting back tears talking about KD's injury: “I don’t believe there’s anyone to blame…if you have to, you can blame me."

Kevin Durant has spent a little more than a month on the sidelines recovering from a calf injury. That calf injury happened against the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference semifinals. Last night was Durant’s first game since his calf injury and he made an impact during the first quarter. Durant had 11 points, two rebounds and created the lead for the Warriors in the first quarter. The first quarter was the only point in the game where the Warriors outshot the Raptors. On behalf of myself and the Ambush Sports Network, we wish nothing but a speedy and healthy recovery for Kevin Durant. Our thoughts and well wishes are with Kevin and his family.
