During the NBA playoffs, rumors were floating around that the Philadelphia Sixers would fire Brett Brown if the loss to the Toronto Raptors. The Sixers loss to the Raptors in Game seven on a last-second shot by Kwahi Leonard.
It has been reported that the Sixers will not fire Brett Brown and bring him back for his seventh season as the team’s head coach. Brown and the Sixers won 75 games in first four seasons in the middle of the trust the process era. The last two season Brown coached the team to back to back 50 seasons
Brett Brown will return as the Philadelphia 76ers coach next season, managing partner Josh Harris told ESPN on Monday night. Harris, Brown and GM Elton Brand met today to discuss offseason priorities, including draft and free agency.

Joel Embid defended coach Brown on Monday saying that the idea of firing Brown was “bull—-,” He’s done a fantastic job. He’s been there through everything”.
The Sixers have a lot of decisions to make this offseason. Jimmy Butler, Tobias Harris, and J.J Redick all are free agents. Butler will probably be seeking a max contract and Harris closely to the Max. So it will be interesting what they will do, with Ben Simmions a year away from is Max Contract.
Brown’s record with the Sixers is 178-314 over six seasons with the team. He is under contract through 2021- 22 season. I think its good Brown is coming back for the Sixers that was a tough way to lose a series.
