With this deal, Wilson surpasses Packers quarterback Aaron Rogers as the highest paid quarterback. Wilson is also now the new highest paid NFL player. With all this excitement, the superstar never wanted to leave Seattle. According to Wilsons agent, Mark Rodgers “At the end of the day, my guy wants to live, work, thrive in Seattle. He loves this town and its fans. He compromised to stay here. I respect that.” Congratulations to Russell Wilson on his historic deal.
