The Orlando City Invitational tournament has ended and saw the hosts walk away with the trophy in what was an extremely high scoring game for Orlando who scored 6 goals to blow past the New England Revolution. Orlando City scored in the 29th minute with a penalty goal by Uri Rosell, and an own goal in the 32nd minute thanks to New England’s Brandon Bye, with those two goals Orlando, took the lead into halftime. The second half started, and Orlando came out firing on all cylinders scoring 4 goals in the first 11 minutes of the half to take their lead up to 6, however, New England was able to score 2 goals in the last 10 minutes of the game thanks to Teal Bunbury. Orlando City’s manager and fans can certainly be happy with this result as they were playing without recent signing Nani who will only bolster an attack that looks to only get stronger with new attacking option added to it. The next match for Orlando will be the regular season opener featuring New York City Football Club on the 2nd of March at the Orlando City stadium at 230 pm.
