The Serie A (Italy) started early this week with Juventus playing host to Frosinone, Juventus looking to remain on top of the Serie A standings and Frosinone looking to leapfrog several teams and move one step closer to escaping the relegation zone makes this a must win for both teams. Juventus will also look to take the momentum from this win into their match against Atletico Madrid in their Champions League match.
Despite the Champions League happening later in the week, Juventus fielded an extremely strong team, and this showed in Paulo Dybala scoring an absolute rocket of a goal only 7 minutes into the game, and Leonardo Bonucci marked his return from injury with a goal in the 16th minute from a corner kick. The first half ended with the Juventus faithful happy with the 2-0 end. In the second half Juventus took over again, and as is expected for Christiano Ronaldo, he scored in the 63rd minute before being subbed for Federico Bernadeschi. Unfortunately, for the Frosinone fans, their team played a majority of the game in their own half as Juventus imposed their will. Frosinone, who has had very little experience playing in the top tier of Italian soccer as compared to their hosts who have won the league seven times in a row so far and with this victory look to continue their dominant run at the top of the league, just could not match up.
