BREAKING: Kenny Omega Signs With AEW As Executive Vice President

On February 7th, 2019 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, AEW hosted a “Double Or Nothing Ticket Party.” This energetic poolside party was very similar to their first rally that they hosted in Jacksonville earlier this year. This time around, AEW brought us the moment that we have all been waiting for.
This ticket party was slam packed with all kinds of debuts from all across the board. AEW presented the world with new faces in their Tag Team Division, Women’s Division and more. With every new face that had arrived on the scene, the anticipation continued to build. Throughout the night, the crowd kept going back to one name. That one name is Kenny Omega. When it comes to being elite, most people will consider this man the epidemy of it. And now, not only is Kenny Omega officially a part of the star-studded All Elite roster, but he is also one of the Executive Vice Presidents of All Elite Wrestling.
After making his grand entrance, Kenny made his way to the podium. Kenny Omega begins to speak on changing the world. He stated that many people had asked him in multiple interviews what he means by saying that he is going to change the world. Kenny expressed that he could never exactly put into words but that he felt it in his heart.

“The cast and crew of All Elite Wrestling will now be able to show you how we are going to change the world”

Soon after making his statements about changing the world, Kenny Omega was interrupted by Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega have quite the history together. They fought in an epic battle in NJPW at Wrestle Kingdom 12 that was known as “Alpha VS Omega.” In that hard-fought match, Kenny Omega defeated Chris Jericho. With that being said, it’s no surprise that Jericho interrupted Omega in his debut in AEW.

As you can see above, these two superstars had an epic stare down when meeting face to face. After exchanging words, it did not take long at all for a brawl to break out. The two had to be separated by security. In the end, Chris Jericho was escorted backstage, and Kenny Omega continued at the podium. Kenny closed out by encouraging everyone to say his catchphrase along with him.

Are you excited to see Kenny Omega join the All Elite roster? Do you think that he will face Chris Jericho at the Double Or Nothing Event on May 25th?
